The comedy, however, is still great. Added an element of parody - unfortunately, I'm not a fan of westerns, so most references did not appreciate. However, Doc Brown, acclimatized in the Wild West, the ancestors of the residents of Hill Valley, the costume Marty in which he went into the past - all this is already uplifting.
Especially this time the villain – “Mad Dog” Tannen, unlike his descendants, is a real bandit and dangerous seriously. Fortunately, Marty has had to deal with people like him. And yet the villain here is very colorful, perhaps one of the main successes of the film.
But the beloved Doc Clara did not please - she is too obsessive and not too smart. In general, this whole love line is full of melodramatic cliches and excessive exaltation. Of course, comedy, but all this was so often parodied that it is no longer funny.
But it could turn out at the level of the first part, and better than the second – the Wild West, in my opinion, more interesting than the hypothetical conditional future, there is a lot to show. But, first of all, the writers were a little exhausted - not surprisingly after the excessive in terms of events of the second film. And secondly, the main idea of the film is still the same – “be a man and do not fall for the weak”. Only a love line was added, but as I said, it does not shine with originality.
Bottom line: in general, this is a good fantastic comedy that you need to watch. And if you watch three films in a row, then all the sharp corners will smooth out, and all three parts will appear as a kind of life-affirming comedy epic. In any case, the trilogy "Back to the Future" is a film classic.
